- SB 1383
The Short-Lived Climate Pollutant Strategy aims to divert 75% of organics in California from landfills and recover 20% of surplus edible food for human consumption by 2025. Regulations became effective on January 1, 2022.

- SB54
The Plastic Pollution Prevention and Packaging Producer Responsibility Act is one of the world’s largest Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs. The law has a special focus on reducing plastic waste and its harm to communities and the environment. This bill is also among the most far-reaching in its control over the plastic packaging industry.
- SB343
Known as the "Truth in Recycling" law, SB 343 establishes stringent criteria for labeling products as recyclable in California. Under this law, the chasing arrows symbol or any indication of recyclability cannot grace product packaging unless specific conditions are met.
- AB1201
AB 1201 was enacted on October 5, 2021, to address the requirements for products labeled as compostable or home compostable.
- AB1817
Beginning Janurary 1, 2023, the law prohibits, any person from distributing, selling or offering for sale in the state any good packaging that contains PFAS substances.
- AB1200
Bans Bisphenol A. Prohibits the manfacture sale or distribution of any bottle or cup to be filled with liquid, food, or beverage containing the chemical Bisphenol A. Also bans PFAS in disposable foodware containers, packaging and cookware.

Beginning January 1, 2024 this bill requires a redemption payment for every beverage container sold or offered in CA.
